Our Dear Friends and Loved Ones,
On July 2 of this year, our mother, Mary Pat Finn, came within hours of losing her life as a result of emergency exploratory surgery. She remained in the hospital for nearly two months, and she has since been recovering in an acute nursing facility--the same nursing facility where our father has also lived ever since suffering a debilitating stroke in 2016.
Unfortunately, Mary Pat’s Medicare coverage will expire on December 1 st , and she is in no condition to live either independently or in an assisted living home. The costs for her continued care and mounting medical bills are far beyond what our family can afford, and so we humbly ask for your support to help our family, especially Mary Pat, manage what has now become a dire matter for us all.
