Help Mary Thomas Recover

Hello, everyone! My name is Katie, and I am Mary Thomas's daughter-in-law. I'm creating this Go Fund Me on behalf of my father-in-law, Mark Thomas, Mary's loving husband.

Mary has unfortunately been involved in a very serious accident. On the night of Wednesday, July 5th while working on their home, she sustained a fall from approximately 30 feet, landing on the concrete driveway. She suffered extensive facial fractures that have made her medical care quite complicated, along with fractures to her femur, pelvis, ribs, and both arms. She is currently on life support in the intensive care unit, but she is incredibly tough and is miraculously expected to make a full recovery within the next several months.

Mary had emergency surgery the night of the accident and will require two additional surgeries over the next week to stabilize her facial injuries. She will also undergo additional orthopedic surgeries once these immediate concerns are taken care of. It's going to be a really long and difficult healing process, but we know that Mary will put in the hard work necessary to get back to playing with her grandbabies, along with her many other hobbies, as soon as possible!

First, I want to thank you so much for reading our story. This has been such a shock to the whole family, and we are endlessly thankful for all the support, prayers, and kind words we have received since all of this happened. Life really can change in an instant, and we are just so grateful that Mary is still alive and with us, because we know things could have turned out differently.
