Help Maryse and Damian

As many of you are very much aware, there is currently a humanitarian crisis in Haiti - a country that has suffered many tragedies in the past few months and years. A local Lamorinda/Meher School family is hosting a young mother and her 4 year old son after they endured a 2-month long trek across South and Central America. Their perseverance and resilience in the midst of many obstacles is nothing short of miraculous and speaks to their amazing human spirit. The host family has taken them into their home and is currently providing for not only all their basic necessities but is also helping with immigration/legal and healthcare expenses as well. They would also like to ensure that the remaining family in Haiti has a safe passage from violence torn Haiti to a more secure location. We are hoping to be able to come together as friends, neighbors, parents, and help offset some of these costs for this wonderful and generous family.
