Our Community Has Outgrown Its Mosque

Since 2008, Masjid Al Huda has served as a spiritual and educational home for the Muslim community in Salt Lake City, Utah. It provides daily prayers, Islamic education, community events, and support for hundreds of families.

But we have outgrown our current space.

Every Friday, worshippers overflow into hallways, parking lots, and even the streets due to lack of space. The madrasa (Islamic school) has 300 students but cannot accommodate them all, forcing children to study in cramped conditions, and many are turned away due to lack of room. The women’s prayer area and restroom facilities are extremely limited, making it difficult for our sisters to worship comfortably.

Current Mosque Capacity: 150 people

Current Weekly Attendance: 500+

Current Madrasa Students: 300+ (Growing every year!)

This is unsustainable. We urgently need your help to purchase a new, larger masjid where our community can thrive.
