Help Mason march the Madison Scouts!

Hi! My name is Mason Storicks! 

I am 19 and I am a freshman at East Carolina University. My major is criminal justice with a minor in forensics. I have two sisters and one brother back at home in Garner, North Carolina. Some of my favorite hobbies are being in places unfamiliar to me and playing my trumpet.

Since middle school, I have always loved to play the trumpet and I have always been fascinated with the marching arts. Being able to be a part of a show that entertaining stands full of people has been one of my biggest dreams. I have also fantasized about marching with a world class corps, which pushed me to go further with my dedication for the arts.

Last year, my dream of marching with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps came true. From the first step off that airplane in Wisconsin, I knew that this adventure would be something I would never forget. During this adventure of mine, I met so many new faces and made some everlasting friendships within the corps. And from beginning to end, it felt like a brand new family and another place to call home. 

The reason I have started this gofundme is because of some unfortunate circumstances that have recently occurred within my life. Because of this, I will not be able to pay for the entire tuition alone. 

Everything I earn from this fundraiser will be put straight into funding my tuition for the upcoming 2022 tour. 

I know it’s asking a lot from anyone who reads this, but any amount donated would mean the absolute world to me.
