Matt for All, All for Matt

We are asking you to help a hero in need. Our son, father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend.
It’s been nearly three years since Matt was given the official, devastating diagnosis of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). ALS is a degenerative neurological disease that has no cure, gradually taking away the ability to walk, eat, talk, and breathe.
Over the past three years, Matt has lost the ability to walk, talk for long periods and feed himself. He has also lost almost all fine motor control in his hands, making tasks that seem easy instead very difficult. He is constantly losing more of what he can do independently with no assistance and is now almost completely chair-bound, needing round-the-clock care. We want to provide him with as much comfort and security as possible. This includes having access to, and funds available for, new drugs and treatments that may become available, as well as in-home care and more. The average cost of ALS can reach up to $300,000 a year.
Matt has spent his whole life fighting for those less advantaged. No matter his own struggles, he has always fought for what is right, just, and fair. His voice and his actions have helped guide an entire community toward love and peace, and many have been touched by his generosity and fighting spirit. Even now, he is working as much as he can, educating people on how to build inclusive communities in Kansas and beyond. His will and fortitude remain as this disease continues to erode his physical abilities.
He is now in the fight of his life and it’s time for us to fight for him for all the times he has fought for us.
Please consider helping Matt Enyart and donating what you can. Thank you. #allformatt
