Help Matt Hurd fight Cancer

Our friend Matt Hurd was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia in June 2018. Despite initial reports that it was a slow-growing cancer and that it could be controlled, the cancer spread to his bones, created tumors on his spine and brain, and then spread to his liver. While the prognosis is generally good, the aggressive treatments have left him unable to work. We are running a fundraiser to help pay for his health insurance and other medical expenses for the next 9 months to give him time to get healthy.

He will be undergoing chemotherapy transfusions every 3 weeks for the next 6 months. After the chemo phase is complete, Matt will need a bone marrow transplant. The ultimate goal will be to beat the cancer in his liver and bones and manage the Leukemia.

Matt has always been a generous and caring friend to so many people, and this is our time to help him when he needs it most.
