Help Matt Kissmann beat cancer

Hi, I'm Lauren, an old friend and frisbee teammate of Matt's. I am fundraising to support Matt in expanding access to specialty care and in transitioning into a new nutritional routine caused by colorectal cancer. If you know Matt, you know he's hard-working, thoughtful, hilarious, and somewhat stoic. He has been navigating his cancer treatment with a small group of loved ones, but I'm hoping to expand the community of folks supporting him and ease at least a portion of the financial stress he is feeling.

I know that he would never ask for this kind of help, but he is facing significant uncertainty and I am fundraising to try to give him a little more flexibility as he makes major decisions about his course of treatment in the months ahead. While his insurance has covered much of his care, his options for second opinions or specialty care have been limited. He will also likely face some major diet and lifestyle changes, and extended time away from work. This fund will help him have more options for how he navigates those compounding challenges.
