Help Matt Millar Swing Back into Action!

Dear Friends, Family, Members, and Fellow Golf Enthusiasts,

I hope this message finds you well.

My name is Phil, and I'm reaching out to you on behalf of a very good friend, and someone very dear to many other golfers around Canberra. As many of you know, Matt is not just an incredible golfer, but also an individual who dedicates a significant amount of his own time and effort to giving back to our community.

For those who have had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Matt, even in the slightest capacity, you are aware of his illustrious golfing career and accomplishments, and the positive impact he has made in the Canberra, and golfing communities through his selfless acts of charity. Whether it's organizing fundraising events such as his many Pro Ams, coaching aspiring young golfers, or just through donating his time, Matt has been a driving force behind making our community a better place.

Now, Matt is facing a challenge that threatens to interrupt not only his golfing career but also his ability to continue making a difference in the lives of others as we know it. He requires a crucial operation, one that comes with a significant financial burden. The procedure is critical for Matt Millar to regain full mobility and comfort in his day-to-day life, return and prolong his playing career (pain free!), and continue coaching his many grateful students.

I believe that together, as a community, we can help Matty get back on the golf course, return to his winning ways, and continue making a positive impact on the lives of those around us. This is where I need your support. I have set up this GoFundMe campaign with the goal of alleviating the significant out of pocket costs (to the tune of $60,000 for the surgeon, anesthetist etc) to assist with the cost of Matt Millar's operation, post-operative care, and rehabilitation.

Your contribution, no matter the size, will make an incredibly meaningful difference to Matt and his family. Your donation will alleviate the huge cost of the operation, but it will also help in the two months after the operation before Matt can resume his golfing and coaching career.
