Help Matt Purchase a Wheelchair Van

Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease, earlier this year. My wife, Wendy, and I are doing our best to adapt to the progressive physical changes that come with this disease.
Many of those adaptations come with a cost. One of the biggest costs we are facing is the need for a specialized van equipped to accommodate a wheelchair. Those heavily modified vehicles come with a price premium.
This van will be extremely important for us to get around, including to any medical appointments. This includes traveling to Madison for an ALS specialty clinic.
We have had many people ask how they can help. While we are not good at asking for help, we thought this would be an opportunity for those able and willing to help us get this needed piece of equipment.
I truly appreciate all donations made on my behalf. Funds raised will go directly toward the purchase of a wheelchair van. Anything raised over the amount will go towards other care and equipment needs as we progress along this journey. Thank you so much for considering donating.
