My dear friend and long-time manager, Matt Maltese (and his trusty dog Duncan) has tragically lost his home in the devastating Altadena fires. This wasn’t just any house—it was a home Matt lovingly built with his own hands, heart, and labor.

Over the years, he poured so much of himself into creating a space filled with warmth, care, and memories, which he lovingly shared with friends and community. The fire swept through unexpectedly, leaving him with no time to gather his belongings. While we are grateful that he is safe, he now faces the daunting challenge of rebuilding his life from scratch.

An independent music manager, Matt is a kind, hardworking, and resilient individual who has always been there for his friends, family, and anyone who needed him. He was deeply passionate about Altadena and the community that he and other residents had cultivated so beautifully. Whether you crossed paths with Matt in the music scene, outdoor pursuits, his small business ventures, or just want to support—now it's our turn to be there for him.
