Help Matthew Garcia’s Family with Funeral Costs
Donation protected
Matthew Freddie “Solo” Garcia was brutally taken from his family on 10/18 at the hands of two Albuquerque police officers when they shot him to death while he was handcuffed. Matthew celebrated just his 39th birthday on April 18th, far too young to be ripped from his loved ones. He is survived by his wife Bianca, his two children Matthew jr. and Azul Diamond, his sisters Ava, and Stephanie, his brother Santos his mother-in-law Bernadette his father Fred and countless friends. His wife took a week and a half of unpaid time off work to grieve her loss and be with her children. No one in the family was expecting to have to pay for a funeral and burial for their dear Matthew. He should still be with them today and deserved a full dignified life. We are fundraising to assist with the funeral costs as well as to keep his family’s bills paid in this trying time. The city of Albuquerque hasn’t formally reached out to the family, much less assisted them financially for the loss they inflicted. It is up to you to make sure Matthew’s family can honor him the way he deserves to be honored. Please give generously and share wildly. Justice for Matthew Freddie “Solo” Garcia.
