Help Matthew Pearle

Many of you have heard by now that Matthew Pearle has experienced a very serious back injury due to a fall from a tree stand while deer hunting on December 23rd.

Matt had hunted from this particular stand only a few days before without issue. After an inspection of the stand, it looks like someone had intentionally cut the support straps most of the way through. He fell from 25 feet, landing on his back, causing a significant fracture and ligament damage. He had to be air lifted to RI hospital, where he underwent surgery on December 28th.

People who know Matt will tell you he's the firs one to offer assistance to anyone who needs anything. Whether it's something in the community, coaching kids sports teams and driving kids all over the state to games and tournaments, being there to help his children's friends when needed or helping someone in his current position. When he's not hunting or working, his life revolves around friends, family and the community.

Matt is a self employed carpenter and will likely be out of work for 6-8 months. It would be great if we could help take the sting out of being out of work that long. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
