Help Matthew with Funeral Costs

Hello everyone, my name is Matthew. I'm making this GoFundMe page for my father Glen who unexpectedly passed away in early August of 2021. He was an incredibly loving husband, father and grandfather who worked hard his whole life to provide for his family.

I had become unemployed in February of this year due to unforeseen circumstances with covid restrictions. Being the working musician that I am, many paying gigs have been shut off from the pandemic, so I decided to street perform in Spring. Philadelphia had treated me very well and in those following months and the momentum was building to a point where my goals of buying a car and having access to a wider stream of income was becoming possible. While I was very fortunate to have had the cushion to be able to cover the funeral charges at the time necessary, it did come to a hault.

If anyone who is reading this knows me personally, I always try to make the best of my time and move forward with what I can create for myself: Asking for help has not always been my strong point. I've been very much blessed with the part time gig work I've been given to stay afloat for the time being but I've come to the conclusion that maybe I should reach out for a helping hand. This would put me back on track to making a down payment for a vehicle and taking the next steps forward.

I have many lovely people, friends & family, in my life who made this time a better one by being so kind and helpful and just by you taking the time to reading this, you've done just the same.
