Help Matthew’s sons put their father to rest

It’s with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my children’s father and ex-husband, Matthew Clinton. Details of his death are unknown, but at this time, we know that he passed peacefully in his sleep at his home in Columbia. His next of kin and responsibility for his estate falls on his eldest son, Philip. Matt didn’t have much and lived a very minimalist life.

We decided to do a GoFundMe account to help pay for the costs related to his cremation, transport, burial in the family plot where he wished to be laid (yes, we are burying the urn), modest memorial service, and maybe if we can afford, a small stone plaque where he rests. I feel obligated to help my sons put to rest their father in a respectful way.

I will have details about his memorial hopefully within the next couple of days! We would love as many of you to join us in his celebration of life. Matt did try to help a lot of people along the way. My sons would love to hear these stories.
