Help Maura Grace and Children Recover from Devastating Fire

Maura Grace is a single mother of two small children who just lost everything. For those of you who know Maura, you know she lives to serve others and now it's our turn to show up for her. We are asking the community to band together and help her get back on her feet.

Maura and her children, Kestrel (6) and Leela (9) had just moved into their dream home in the Palisades. Everything they had ever owned was in the home. She had just finished moving in, organizing, and decorating the space only two days before the fire (which also occurred on her birthday).

Maura had less than five minutes notice to evacuate, so she took only a few items. Nothing survived the fire and they now have nothing but each other. With their home and much of their town now burned to the ground, this family needs our help more than ever! Maura is the sole breadwinner for her children - bootstrapping her business to be able to provide for them.

Maura is a devoted mom, a devoted friend, and a devoted steward of our community. She has opened her home to so many, hosting gatherings and social events to help others find a deeper sense of community. She has facilitated endless positive connection and ongoing neighborly support with her creation of these gatherings, the ask/offer thread and others. Let's show Maura what this community is capable of and support her and her children to get back on their feet.
