Dear Friends, Family, and Patrons of the Arts,

I am excited to announce I am finally putting up my solo play, Alien Love (Extraterrisal Kink), this year and I need your help to make my dreams a reality! I’ve spent the past ten years in Los Angeles performing, writing, teaching, clowning, improvising, storytelling, AND working 100 different jobs to support my passions. This last decade has shaped my artistry, confidence, and how I show up for myself in this world, preparing me to share this extremely vulnerable story with you all!

What is the show about?!

Extra-Terrestrial Kink is an adventurous dark comedy about a self-sabotaging comedian who struggles to maintain a love life, as she hopelessly compares all men to the perfect alien being she met when she was 16, who is totes coming back to get her! Imagine a woman meeting ET (but sexier) as a teen and their connection grows into a friendship, then to lust, and love, climaxing into a higher otherness that humans can only begin to comprehend!

“I had to make a decision right there: Live my perfectly boring teenage life or become an alien sex goddess forever.”

Why is this important?!

As humans, we all desire to belong. This story is an intense self-discovery into the depth of that longing that we all crave. The power of self-love, self-discovery, and the mysteries of the universe.

Even though the themes are universal, the story is unique. There have been no plays, shows, or films done like it before. This will be great exposure for me as an artist and for this type of story to be told to larger audiences. The play is extremely personal to me and my journey of navigating love, depression, and anxiety, all while trying to follow my dreams and find my voice in this mad world. It is an expression of my deepest desires, fears, and dreams bared on stage with a splash of comedy…and an alien!

Goals!

1. To workshop the solo show and bring it to fringe festivals during the 2023-2024 season with the largest being the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August of 2024.

2. Exposure for myself as a writer/performer to gain literary representation.

3. Packaging show as a TV series!

This undertaking takes money. I don't know how Phoebe Waller-Bridge did it without help! if you donate, you would be helping me cover the costs for photography, marketing materials, theater rentals, director, choreographer, producer fees, festival fees, travel, living expenses, and PR. You would be a part of helping an artist create and share their story with the world! Alien love stories are way underrepresented in this climate!
