UPDATE: Based on test results, Max is facing a long hospital stay, weeks at a rehabilitation facility and a possible long and extensive surgery which will be best for his long term recovery. Max Shores is a 21 year old sophomore at IU. On December 7, 2018, he suffered a rupture of his brain AVM. He was air lifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis and is in critical care. This brain bleed is similar to having a stroke and he has limited movement on the left side of his body. The doctors are waiting for the swelling to go down in his brain to determine what the next steps are. Please help the Shores family during this difficult time. Any donation would be greatly appreciated to help off-set the medical bills they will be facing.
