Help Max through his brain surgery and recovery

I apologize for the late update.. My Max had to undergo another shunt removal, followed by days in the ICU, and finally a 3rd shunt revision. Thankfully Max is now home and recovering! Thank you again for your love and support.

Hello, my name is Jay Leyva. I am Max Linder’s girlfriend. I am incredibly blessed as Max is kind, selfless, and strong. With his permission, I am reaching out to you for help.

Max was born with Hydrocephalus, essentially he needs a surgical drainage system (a shunt) to help his body drain the cerebrospinal fluid from his brain. So far Max has undergone 6 brain surgeries; at birth, 7, 10, 13 and most recently, one in May and then again in June. Each time the shunt malfunctions, Max needs to undergo CT scans, shunt taps, dye tests, and of course brain surgery.

I am asking you for help with hopes of raising some funds to help Max with hospital bills. I would be most grateful if you’d join in supporting my Max through this difficult journey. Thank you for your prayers and support.
