Help Maxica Williams&Family with An Emergency Move

Hi , I am Maxica Williams. My family is experiencing a housing crisis and require an emergency move. My family helps advocate, lobby, testify, to change outdated laws and policies that are direct barriers which lead to homelessness for all Illinois residents that are low income or facing housing insecurities.

However, today my family asks for help during the Christmas holiday for us to get emergency housing. Our family has to pay security deposit ($2,600.00), pet deposit (2 dogs) ($500), replace furniture ($1,000), mover fees ($600 mover fees), and moving truck fees ($300).

I am disabled and still recovering from stage 3 cancer treatment and current cancer prevention treatment. I do not have the money for this move because it was so unexpected.
