Help Maxx Replace Stolen Captioning Glasses
Donation protected
We’re coming together to support Maxx, a bright and kind-hearted boy whose world was changed two days ago when his closed-captioning glasses were stolen at Walmart. For Maxx, who is deaf, these glasses were more than a tool—they were his connection to the world around him. They allowed him to fully experience conversations, laughter, and love with friends, family, and especially his mom. Through these glasses, Maxx found a sense of belonging, confidence, and joy in being able to understand and be understood.
While we hold onto hope that his glasses will be returned, we’re raising funds to replace them so Maxx can continue to engage with the world in the beautiful way he deserves. Any additional funds will go toward providing another child who is deaf or hard of hearing with these transformative glasses—giving them the gift of “seeing” the sounds of the world, just like Maxx.
Hearview glasses turn spoken words into real-time captions, empowering children like Maxx to fully participate in conversations with incredible accuracy and no delay. Your support can help restore Maxx’s sense of connection and provide this life-changing experience to another child in need.
Let’s come together to give Maxx and others the gift of communication. ❤️ #SupportMaxx #SeeTheSounds #GiftOfCommunication
