Help Maya and Leo Rebuild After Eaton Fire

I am Jeremy Sullivan in Ontario, California, and my family and I are setting up this GoFundMe to help our dear friends Maya Hewitt and her son Leo.

Maya and Leo lost their home in the terrible Eaton Fire in Altadena, California, on Tuesday night. They evacuated when asked but only brought some overnight bags, never even thinking the fires could destroy an entire city. They lost everything except those two bags of personal items.

Maya has not lost her livelihood, so at first, I only reached out to our hockey family at Empire Hockey Club to ask for unneeded home items, dishes, old furniture, and the like, to help Maya get restarted building a new home. Several of our amazing hockey families asked if there was a GoFundMe set up for donations.

Any funds will be used for household items, possibly some furniture, clothing.

Maya and Leo are beyond grateful for all of the love and support they have received already. GoFundMe asks for a goal, so I just put in $5,000 as a placeholder.
