Help Maya move out of Arkansas and Mutual Aid Fund

Who: Hello! My name is Maya (She/Her) and I'm a black trans woman originally from Arkansas.
What: I'm raising funds to move out of Arkansas as well as establishing a general mutual aid fund.
When:When the goal hits.
Where: The main option I'm looking at is the west coast. Preferably Southern California but I'm leaving myself open to alternate locations.
Why: The current political climate in my state does not favor me or people like me. Beyond the anti-trans bills and sentiments, there have been anti-black and P.O.C. bills that have grown more apparent in our government. I do recognize this necessarily will not automatically change or get better no matter where I go but I also believe that a fresh start and a change of environment (especially from a hostile one) is important for me and my overall health.I will be getting my gender affirming surgeries done all within next year. With your generous donations, I'll be able to pay off the money for this gender affirming surgery which would be greatly appreciated!
How: With your help, I'm hoping the goal will be reached soon. With the funds, I will be looking into finding a job, a place to live and public transportation in the new place. I'll keep you updated when milestones are reached. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
