Help Maya get a custom wheelchair!

Hi, my name is Maya Campbell. I am 21 years old and I was born with Spina Bifida (Lipomyelomeningocele) causing weakness and numbness in my legs. I have played wheelchair basketball since I was 7 years old and have loved every moment of it. This upcoming fall I am attending the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater to continue my basketball career and further my education. To be able to continue playing the sport I love, I am in need of a custom-fit wheelchair. This wheelchair will allow me to compete at the collegiate level while improving my skills with hopes of playing for team USA one day. Unfortunately, insurance doesn’t cover the cost for the wheelchair and they are expensive. Anything would help and be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
