Help Maya Heal Her Broken Leg

Hi, my name is Angélica, and I am a student at MSU. On Tuesday night, April 12th, Maya, my dog and best friend, unfortunately fell down the stairs in my apartment. I took her to the vet the following day, where she was diagnosed with an acute left lateral articular humeral condylar fracture. On April 14th, the veterinarians performed a left distal humeral fracture repair – the left limb was clipped, prepped, and draped aseptically. A lateral approach was made to the humerus and elbow joint. Various screws and a plate were placed for the repair. As you may imagine, I was not prepared for her to hurt herself, and it was painful for me to watch her deal with this pain and then surgery. The vet expenses for the surgery are expensive, and I am now trying to raise funds for the costly surgery. I appreciate any help. If you cannot afford to help, even sharing our story would mean so much to us.
