Help Maya Memorialize Fire-Affected Homes

My name is Maya and I was raised in Los Angeles. I started drawing the houses and businesses that were lost in the Eaton and Palisades fires as a way to process the grief and to be able to gift art to those who lost everything. My goal is to compile as many drawings of these houses and their stories into a book as a tribute to the homes and the people who loved them. I hope to raise awareness and support for those who have lost so much.

The money raised will go towards the creation of the drawings, printmaking, and the costs of compiling and publishing a book that memorializes the homes and stories of those affected by the fires. It will also help me keep afloat financially while I devote a large amount of time to drawing lost homes for free and getting free art out to those affected.

Donations will also go towards maintaining the website and expanding my outreach efforts to connect with more individuals in these communities.
