Help Maysaa Evacuate and Secure Medical Treatment

Misa's Treatment

My name is Marcus, from North Carolina in the US, and I am managing this fundraiser on behalf of Mahmoud and Maysaa Baalousha. I recently found Mahmoud on social media in need of someone to make a fundraiser to evacuate his sister, Maysaa, who is displaced in Al-Shati, Gaza with her husband, Muhammed, and four children, Tamer, Mohamed, Dana, and Dima.

Mahmoud is presently displaced, but safe, in Egypt, but is unable to make a fundraiser for his sister. I am currently in contact with him on WhatsApp where he has provided me information on his sister and her family.

Maysaa suffers from pulmonary fibrosis. Due to the continued siege on Gaza and the specific targeting of hospitals, she is unable to access the care she desperately needs. This campaign will provide the funds she and her family needs to evacuate and access medical care once the border re-opens.

EDIT: For further clarification, the money raised here will be transferred from myself to Mahmoud in Egypt, who is collecting these on behalf of his sister. He will use these funds to secure travel for his sister and her family from Gaza into Egypt where she will seek medical treatment.

I will provide further photos and updates soon. It's difficult for Mahmoud to receive photos and updates from his sister, but he was able to provide me the following photos which are Maysaa's outpatient papers from Al-Shifa and pictures of his nephew, Tamer, in his mother's tent.

These are Maysaa's medical records. I am in the process of finding someone to translate them, but you can see a list of the prescriptions required to manage her condition.
