The Reeves family asks you to join us in supporting McKenzi Jacques, the courageous daughter of our lifelong friends Chris and Sandra Jacques. McKenzi was diagnosed at age 18 in June 2023 with a nano-rare form of juvenile FUS-ALS. She is a recent graduate of Bethlehem Central High School. (McKenzi's VIDEO
Despite the hardships of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), McKenzi's spirit remains unbroken. Her resilience and positive attitude shine brighter than ever.
McKenzi has embarked on an extraordinary journey, including participation in a clinical trial (Jacifusen) in New York City, offering hope for a treatment or cure. The progression of ALS has profoundly impacted her life. In February 2024, McKenzi underwent tracheotomy surgery and is now ventilator-dependent. She continues to adjust with the incredible support of her family.
Chris and Sandra face significant financial challenges to ensure McKenzi receives the care she needs. This includes monthly travel to New York City and Rochester for treatments, securing specialized medical equipment, and providing stable care at home.
Through every setback, McKenzi has managed to greet each day with love, laughter, and courage. Her parents and sister, Megan, care for her at home and are committed to her comfort and happiness. Her unwavering positivity is a beacon of hope to everyone around her.

With my father's recent passing (Ned Reeves, age 86), we find comfort in honoring his legacy of kindness and community. In his memory, we ask for your support of McKenzi Jacques as she continues to bravely face the challenges of ALS. Funds will help with many of McKenzi’s non-covered care costs. Your generosity means so much and will make a real difference. On behalf of the Jacques family, Elaine Reeves, Mark, Christina, and Noah Reeves, thank you.
