Help McMorrow-Quinn Family After Devastating Fire

As many of you may have heard, on December 20th there was a 6 alarm fire in Sunnyside, Queens that left many families displaced and devastated. My sister, Kelly McMorrow-Quinn, a school teacher for the DOE (department of education)was at work at the time when she got the call that her building was on fire. Her son Daniel was at home at the time. He was evacuated with their dog Harper at 12:30 in the afternoon.

They stood outside the building for hours hoping that their home would be saved. That all came crashing down when the roof of the building started to collapse. Kelly and her two children Daniel and Erin and their dog were left homeless. Everything in the building, if not destroyed by the fire was destroyed by water and soot leaving everything unsalvageable. The building she has called home for her entire life is now destroyed, leaving them devastated and with nothing but the clothes on their back.

Kelly is a single mother supporting both her children through college. Her and her family are completely blindsided by the loss of their home, all of their belongings and cherished items due to the fire.
The McMorrow-Quinn family is going to need a lot of help, support, & assistance to find a place to live and to be able to start over. Any money donated will be used to secure interim housing, food, purchase new clothing/ jackets, and eventually new furniture.
