Help My Family and I Survive and Evacuate Gaza

I am Lauren, with my parents and sisters. Since the beginning of the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, we have woken up to the sounds of bombing and destruction all around us. Everything changed in moments. We used to wake up to continue our studies and work, but this time is different. Our faces were pale, marked by fear and panic. After a while, we were asked to vacate our homes in Gaza City, where my beautiful home, my father’s restaurant, my university, and my studies, which I loved and hoped to finish to earn my diploma, were all located. Graduating to make my parents proud and fulfilling my dream to become a famous drawing artist was my goal. When they asked us to evacuate, our beautiful home was targeted and bombed by Israel, and my little sister, Farah, was a victim. She was seriously injured in the head, her skull fractured, and her brain bleeding.

We found ourselves in a small tent, living with 8 people, without food for days. We face great difficulty obtaining drinkable water. Every moment, we see death in the eyes of our children and innocent people. We witness devastation and the collapse of homes around us. We have lost many friends, relatives, and family.

In 206 days of war, we thank God every day that we are still alive in a place where there is no safety. However, we have lost our closest family members and many friends. As human beings, we deserve to live in peace.

I do not support any individuals or organizations. I am only asking for your help for me and my family. I will use the money to try to leave Gaza and travel to a country where we can get treatment for my sister Farah.
