Help me and my family to evacuate from Gaza
Donation protected
Hi, I am Amir Ismail Al-Najjar. I am 10 years old, and I live in Gaza, Al-Nasr neighborhood. I am in the fourth grade, and I am one of the top students in my class.

I am a big fan of football, and my ultimate bias is Cristiano Ronaldo. I love the way he plays and scores goals; I dream to become a super star like him in the future. I always hoped to visit Spain to attend a live football match in which my favourite team “Real Madrid” plays. I play football with my friends at school and in the nearby playground, but sadly now all my dreams are vanished as the Israeli occupation bombed everything.
On the third day of this war, a mosque next to us was bombed and our house was badly affected. We fled to my grandfather’s house, but bombings followed us there too as the seventh floor of the building was targeted and completely destroyed, so we fled to the streets in extreme panic. I still can’t believe how we are still alive after that horrible experience.
It unfortunately did not stop here!
The Israeli Occupation forced us to move to the south through the so-called “safe passage”, and longing for safety, we did so. However, they bombed a truck that was driving behind our car, and we managed to survive for the second time. Even in the South Province which they described as a safe place, we hear bombs all the time, and the last one was in that last week. I was sleeping and woke up frighteningly to a huge bombing as the Israeli jet planes targeted a house next to us. Bodies were scattered here and there, and I couldn’t breathe. I hugged my mother, who was also hugging my sister Tulin, and her screams filled the place. The sound of bombings, the sound of ambulance and people’s screams are all sounds that I can never get used to.
There is absolutely no safe place at all; bombings are everywhere!
With their barbaric attacks and genocide, the Israeli army destroy schools, hospitals, streets, safe houses and every glimpse of hope for us. They target children and women, and I feel scared as I do not want to be killed. I love my life and I still have big dreams that I hope to grow and fulfill. I want to sleep deeply, go to school, play football and live a life full of peace, happiness, love and safety.
