Help Me and My Pets Find Permanent Housing

Hey guys,

This is horribly embarrassing to be here again but I’m come down on an incredibly hard time. This summer, I entered into an incredibly physically, emotionally, and financially abusive relationship. He cost me my job, which lead to me losing my apartment. I am currently homeless and staying in between a few friends couches. All of my pets are placed in temporary homes with friends and it has hurt so much to not have the little family I’ve created all together in one place. Especially to be apart from my dog Emerson, who is the absolute love of my life.

With the money I make currently I can afford rent at a new apartment but I cannot afford the deposit, fees, application fees, moving costs etc that comes with finding a new apartment. Starting fresh is going to be so hard. I feel like everything was stolen from me. The job he got me fired from provided me with the only stability I’ve ever had in my adult life. I’m asking for help getting that stability for me and my pets back. I know it’s around the holidays and the economy has been sucking everyone dry, but if you could spare anything at all that me and my pets can put towards a new, better future I would appreciate it more than words ❣️
