Help me and my pregnant wife escape Gaza war
Donation protected
While we are waiting for our firstborn, we are facing the worst forms of genocide. We are Hamza and Saja from the northern Gaza Strip and this is our story;
On the seventh of October was the beginning, as the war began it became more fierce day after day. We stayed in our house for twenty-three days, during which we were subjected to the worst forms of genocide. Many homes next to us were targeted, a number of people were injured, and others died, some of whom were our relatives, children and women. The area was also exposed to a number of A large number of random shells that could have hit us, and our house was damaged to the point that it became uninhabitable. Then the army informed us of the necessity of evacuating our homes and heading towards the south of the Gaza Strip where we were displaced for the first time towards Khan Yunis, south of Gaza. We left quickly, and we even left without taking our basic needs, clothes, blankets, and other needs, we stayed in a displacement camp in difficult living conditions, with people we do not know about except that they are people displaced from their homes, homeless like ourselves in our country, but we are strangers. We are poor after our wealth. We have nothing but prayers and waiting for aid mixed with humiliation. The story ends here. We were forced to flee again after the city of Khan Yunis entered the danger zone and the displacement shelters were bombed. We moved south towards the city of Rafah and built a tent out of wood planks and nylon rolls, which was also not spared from rocket fragments and stray bullets. Now we are threatened with displacement again. But this time we do not know where our destination will be, whether we will remain alive until we can flee, or whether a genocidal war will end our twenties.
We are now trying, for the first time in our lives, to leave the Gaza Strip, escaping the flames of war, but including our names on the travel lists requires very high costs, as the cost of registering a person’s name amounts to 5,000 US dollars, and this can be verified through the Internet,, it is for this reason that we are in need of 10,000 US dollars to register our names on traveler lists, not to mention the expenses of moving and living in Egypt temporarily, which may extend for months until the end of the war. In addition, we are waiting for our first child, and this is what pushes us to travel urgently so my wife gives birth in a safe hospital away from the ongoing war in Gaza.
Therefore, I hope that you will help us more by donating and publishing so that we can spread our story among people to collect enough donations to travel before it is too late. The time now is very critical and the circle of danger is closing on us more and getting closer to us day after day, so help us.
Update: the baby is finally here with us, little Malek was born in a tent, thankfully him and my wife are of good health.
But he lacks the basic needs of health care and food. This whole time we were moving from one place to another, in a tent, just like most people in Gazs. And in the middle of all this the prices of everything, literally everything went crazy. With the help of this fundraiser, your help, I was able to secure the money for the tent and expenses as the aids we get don't cover the basic minimum. Me and my family thank you for your support and invite you to support me and my family so we can leave as soon as we can, go to a safer place where I can raise little Malek away from all this death and destruction.
