Help Me and My Soulmate Be Together

My name is Elizabeth, and I am deeply in love with my longtime partner, Whitney. We knew within a few months of dating that we wanted to get married, and now we've been together for almost three years. We never have a day that goes by when we don't call each other and talk for literal hours on end, even falling asleep while on a call. 

The pandemic has been pretty rough for us, since we both live in different countries (US and Suriname), and while we're pretty good at long distance, we desperately want to be able to live together. Unfortunately, the process for applying for a K-1 Visa (and then her green card) is pretty expensive, so we're asking for some help with this. Anything at all would help us out a lot, but we're shooting for $3500 in order to try and cover everything. 

We are planning on starting the application for the visa this year.

Donating will mean that we'll be able to be together, hold hands, and that she'll be able to teach me how to cook an omelet without our video cutting out. Help me kiss my girlfriend without having to use emojis!

A message from Whitney: Elizabeth is the love of my life and I have known she is the one for years. I never expected my soulmate to be that one player from the d&d game I started almost 4 years ago but I wouldn't change a thing.

She is my closest friend and confidante and the time we have spent together be it long distance or in person has been the best part of my life.

We are more than ready to start our lives together, this process is a necessary aspect of that and I appreciate any and all assistance towards getting through this.

Breakdown of Costs: 

- I-129F filing fee $535

- Visa fee $265

- Green Card fee (total) $1225

- Medical exam fee ~$300 (depending on number of tests and vaccinations required)

- Travel fees (estimates as of 10/27/20):  to US = ~$1000, to Guyana = ~$1500

- Incidentals $175

-Lawyers?? ~$1000 (if we miraculously find a cheap way to do this, though having this much towards a lawyer will be helpful regardless!)

Total: ~$6000

This will quite literally bring us together, and we would be forever grateful for the chance to get to do all the little things we can't do while we're apart.
