Short Film - "Okay Boomer" - Festival Fundraiser
Donation protected
Beanduck Productions and Theatre Ouest End have been working hard over the past year to adapt Ann Lambert’s short play Okay Boomer for the screen. Starring Laura Mitchell, Tamara Brown, Joan Hart and Brianna Rodrigues, the film tackles topics of ageism, open communication and empathy between generations whose worlds and life experiences are drastically different.
Financed with the help of Canada Council for the Arts and with the generous participation of Montreal rental & post-production facility CineGround, we had just enough budget to see the project through to completion. We are so proud of what’s been accomplished, and are now aiming to bring this project and its message to audiences around the world.
Registration fees, marketing, “digital cinema package” creations; the festival circuit can be expensive. For this, we are asking for your help, and every bit counts. No matter how big or small a contribution, we thank you so much for being a part of our journey, and for helping spread the message that through dialogue, so many of the world’s differences and problems can be understood, respected and mended.
