Help Me Attend Howard University Medical School

Hello, my name is Luke Nelson, recent graduate of Columbia University and I recently got accepted into Howard University College of Medicine, my dream school.
Within the past year, my maternal grandmother, Anne Cherizard, suffered a stroke that caused severe impairment of the left side of her body. My mother purchases her grocery, medication, and toiletries. In the past months, my uncle's leg was amputated, John Fenelon. He has recently moved into our household and is under the primary care of my mother and father. We have to supply his meals, toiletries, and have assisted in paying his medical bills. In addition, because of his amputated leg, we had to help him pay for the costs of the prosthetic. This additional member in the household has reflected an increase in our monthly bills for electricity, gas, and water usage.
Despite these significant challenges, I am committed to attending Howard University College of Medicine and remaining closer to my family will allow me to experience more financial stability and focus on community work as I have been doing during the pandemic. Many of my family members are considered to be essential workers and seeing their courageous work during this pandemic has strengthened my resolve to become a physician.
While on the waiting list, I missed out on the scholarships that were given to the first acceptance group. This morning, I woke up thinking about my medical school education and how I would finance it? A quiet voice told me “There are people who is willing to sow a seed into my medical school education.” I was reluctant to post this, however, when the voice told me to reach to anyone who would be willing to support my medical school education, I decided to post this.
If you can please so a seed into my medical school education, I would be forever grateful for the blessing that I would receive from you.
Orientation begins July 7th, 2021 and I need your help getting to Howard University College of Medicine. Can I count on your support?
