Help me attend my 8th-grade Washington DC NY trip

Hi, my name is Jayda, I am 13 years old and I attend Willow Glen Middle School. I have created this fundraiser to help me go on the 8th-grade Washington DC, New York trip, From April 6- April 12, 2024. Deadline for payment to attend is January 2, 2024.

The 8th-grade class is going to learn about and visit the Statue of Liberty. We are going to learn about the historical landmarks in Washington DC. There's so much more we are going to do and I am so excited. To be able to go on this school trip means so much to me.

It would really be a good experience for me to go on this trip not only to learn about history but also to be able to explore places other than California.

Since we are a big family we don't get to travel to far places because of funds. This would also be a good experience to go on a trip without my sisters.

I have started to help my mom (Rachel) by starting to recycle, doing more chores around the house, etc.

The cost to go on the trip is $3,800.00 and I would also like to raise spending money to eat and buy things to remind me of this wonderful time that I don’t know if I will ever be able to visit again. I am trying to raise as close to $5,000.00, any amount will help. When my sisters and I want to do extra things for school or with our friends my mom always picks up other jobs or does what she can to make sure we are able to do those things. This trip cost a lot and I really want to help my mom pay for it, so she doesn't have to pay for it alone.

I calculated this amount for the trip cost, and spending cost, and GoFundMe takes out 2.9% plus $0.30 for card charges. Or you can also contact my mom to do a direct payment.
