Help Me Breathe Freely: A Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
Every breath we take is a gift—and it’s something I’ve come to cherish deeply, perhaps more than most.
At 16, a near-fatal car accident altered my life in ways I’m still learning to navigate. Since then, I’ve faced ongoing challenges with my breathing, affecting nearly every part of my life. Practicing yoga, running, sleeping have become daily struggles. Over the years, I’ve adapted, proving to my strength. But recently, I had a profound realization: accepting difficulty does not mean giving up on healing.
After living with this for so many years, I’m now ready to take a step toward reclaiming my breath, and my life. My doctors have recommended a nasal reconstruction surgery that will restore what I’ve lost and improve my quality of life in ways I can only begin to imagine.
The cost of the surgery is $32,000 and I’m reaching out for support. For the past two years, my husband, Eric, and I have devoted ourselves to building a nonprofit rooted in service. Now, I'm learning to ask for support on my own healing journey.
Thank you, from the depths of my heart, for reading this. Whether through sharing my story or contributing what you can, your support means more than words can express.

Oceans of gratitude
and endless love,
Victoria
