Help me build a bike helmet for sikh boys.

I have been working on a special helmet for the Sikh (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sikhs) boys. I was facing problems using the regular bike helmet. I was unable to participate in my school bike unit because the regular helmet did not cover my forehead. I am a Sikh boy with long hair, that I tie in a bun on top of my head. Sikh boys wear their hair in this manner. No conventional helmet fits properly on a Sikh boy's head. I thought about various ways I could overcome this hurdle.

Initially I thought some company should be manufacturing helmets for people like us. I thought about it for some more time and I realized that there may not be enough profit for a company to make such helmet targeting a specific type. I thought if this is a problem for me, I need to find a solution to it. I decided to produce a helmet for Sikh youth that will remove this hindrance and provide safety as well.

I researched if there is any available option that I could utilize. I did not find any helmet that I could use. I came up with an idea and sketched few rough drawings. I got good positive feedback on my drawings. I made a rough prototype using my helmet and my Dad’s tools. I started wearing my modified helmet that fit me nicely to my biking trips. Many other Sikh boys liked my idea. I thought this is something I should take to the next level to help the millions of Sikh boys.

I have filed a provisional patent application for the helmet. I need to refine the model further and get the prototype developed so it can be sent for safety testing. I will also need to have the helmets manufactured so these can be distributed to the Sikh Youth.
