Help me build my classroom library!

My name is Layla, and I'm about to start teaching 6th and 7th grade English/Language Arts at a public school in West Englewood, Chicago. I'm raising $1,200, which will allow me to buy around 200 books for my classroom library before school starts on September 3. In my student teaching placements, I've seen how a rich classroom library full of diverse stories can change kids' lives and help them grow academically and emotionally. I've seen the magic that happens when a teenager finds the right book—the one they connect to, the one that helps them fall in love with reading for the first time. As I begin my journey as a teacher, I would be so grateful for your support in building my classroom library—and I know my 120 students will be grateful too!
