The Tantric Underground: A Vision For All Of Us

A Cosmic Birthing: 

There’s a vision that’s abrew inside me that I want to let you in on. It’s been the
subtle soul-stirring of my entire life, and now it’s aching to thrust its way into the universe and birth a home for itself in the world.

So whisper this with me. Say it ever so quietly in catacomb tones: Tantric
Underground. When you hear the word Tantric and Underground together, what does it evoke in your consciousness? Is it the tremulous meeting of raw animal
lust with the face of god in moon dust and ground?

I want to spark a movement of art that is birthed from the grit and belly twist of
our time, a movement of Tantra that leads Queer-forward (no more of this gender-specific Shiva/Shakti
binary), populated aplenty with people of every color (no more play parties where I'm the only brown face in the room), a movement of Tantric Art bursting open all norms,  Art that happens in homes, around fire and hearth, in renegade sing-alongs, and cuddle piles, and parking
lots lit up by candlelight –
taking art that is birthed from the principles of tantra to the streets, to the train
stations, and the theater of bedroom walls lit up with glow-in-the-dark sticker stars. i want an art that defies and rewrites everything we think we know into a jubilation of awareness that everything we are is part of the orgasmic pulse that began everything

Now let me break this down.

tantric underground: a collaborative network of lovelutionary creatives who
have the audacity to believe our aliveness is a miracle and will settle for nothing less, birthing art from the principles of tantra that welcomes everything and anchors our divinity in the experience of embodiment and an intimate communion with all that is


tantric underground: a homegrown movement of creation and ritual, where
shamanism and eroticism weave deeply into immersive art experience that celebrates our most intricate tenderness and longing, our queerness, our kink, our chaos, our diversity, acknowledging the full spectrum of our divine, humyn, and animal
beingness and the harmony with which they flow in and through each other 


tantric underground: an Underground Railroad of sorts that rumbles below the
ground of mainstream society and dismantles the enslavement of the
Matrix by artfully crumbling its narratives of heteronormativity, white supremacy, and patriarchy in our minds  


So what does this look like in practice?

To begin with:

-Performance Art Rituals that serve as active transmissions of orgasmic energy

-A Home Blog of inspired thoughts/poems/digital art pieces from tantrically-
inspired and queer artists

-Tantric sit-ins and flash-mobs invading public spaces with broadcasted displays
of freedom and Queer and Ecosexual love 

-Coordinated/choreographed mass social media ambush with Tantrically-inspired and Queer messaging

-Rage and Grief ceremonies re-integrating these emotions with our divine
pleasure

-Guerilla art parties, leaving messages of inspiration, joy, and wonder in everyday places where people will see them and be heart-touched with hope

-Tantric Interludes  (a capsule of compressed time, intense and robust in its
transformational capacity to be planted like a seed in heart soil and blossom its
magic into your life)

… and the list goes on. The sky is so not the limit.

So Where Will Your Funds Be Going? 

1) Three Months worth of  word class training with Monique Darling* of Every Day Tantra and other leading Tantric teachers from around the world:
(Several of my expressly committed Tantric Underground colleagues and collaborators and I will
be training in Mexico in 5 segments throughout this year to expand our competence in group space facilitation and fine-tune our capacity to laser beam orgasmic tantric energy without the use of touch, a skill-set we
intend to employ in performance art rituals to create transformational experiences that open
people up to a whole new realm of intimacy)

2)Website development and social media marketing
 
3) Inaugural events of the Tantric Underground, the first of which will occur no later than and most likely on May 23rd of this year (my day of my next Solar Return...)
