Reclaim Osage
We’re Going Orange on May 13th.
The 40th annual MOVE Day of Remembrance.
On May 13th, we honor the 11 lives lost in the Osage Massacre—the men, women, and children who were bombed, burned, and buried in unmarked graves. We refuse to let their memory fade so we are building a memorial.
Mike Africa, Jr. is the great-nephew of MOVE founder John Africa and Louise James Africa who owned the MOVE house that was bombed by police in 1985. He’s also the son of Mike and Debbie Africa whom he led to freedom after forty years of unjust incarceration.
After the bombing in 85’ the MOVE house was taken from his family through eminent domain. Now, eminent domain has expired and we are trying to bring the house back home and honor the lives that were lost in the fire.
Help Mike Africa, Jr. spread the word and build a memorial.
