Help me continue my dream of being a doctor
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I have set up this page on behalf of Hala - she is a medical student currently displaced in Rafah, southern Gaza. Despite loosing everything, her home, her family, she is determined to continue her dream after evacuating and continue her medical training in Egypt. Despite displacement, she is using her motivation to help others this Ramadan by distributing iftaar packages to those displaced and always with a smile on her face. We would be grateful if you can help/ share/ donate and allow this beautiful young lady a chance at living her dream of continuing to help others as a doctor.
please read below, a message from Hala.
I am Hala Sharaf , 20 years old as I'm the youngest daughter in the house I made my family proud.
As you know being a medical student in Gaza has its own challenges, Gaza is blockaded since years so here is limited resources and equipment . so studying medicine here is physically and mentally exhausting , I can't find safety in the situation, I don't know if I could live another day but I keep trying to survive to live my dream , so during this genocide everything I did & have is gone , my home is destroyed I lost my lovely brother , he was a nurse , he was helping me in my studying and paying University fees my study stuff such as my laptop , iPad and medical tools are gone
I got 98% in Tawjihi scientific stream , It has been a goal for me to enter the medical college so I became a medical student (2nd year) in Al Azhar University in Gaza,
since October 7, everything has changed, the aggression and bombing in Gaza have not ceased, and we are focusing on merily surviving.
my dream remains, and I hope to begin studying medicine AGAIN in Egypt .
Gaza became the cemetery of dreams, Gaza is no longer available for living so by this situation I cannot reach my dream of being a doctor here in Gaza , I have lost so much but I don’t want to see my dream fading away in front of my eyes, which is why I decided to begin studying medicine again in Egypt in order to find a way to help my people.
the situation is going worse day by day so I don't wanna lose myself here waiting to the best moment to chase my dream so I started this , to tell my story and to help me reach my dream becoming a doctor .
Small donations can cause a big impact . Please consider making a donation. Every little counts! If you can't, please consider sharing this with your friends.
I will be forever grateful.
