Help Me Divorce My Son's Killer & Seek Safe Home

My name is Dru. I am the mother of two sons and a victim of a crime.

This was the most challenging time of my life as my husband murdered my son in front of me at our residence. He shot me four times and left me to die on our living room floor as my eldest son jumped out of the second-floor window to escape danger and get help.

My house, at risk for foreclosure, will never again be a home to me.

I am embarking on recovery; I need safe, discreet housing to regain my health, mobility, peace of mind, and sense of self.

Additionally, even more, complicated than I fought for my life, I plan to fight my son's killer in a court of law to ensure justice is served.

My savings were exhausted as I remained homeless in the Grant Trauma Unit for one month.

My goal is to raise enough money to move into a safe space and pay my living expenses for a year while I rehabilitate and focus on justice for myself and my sons.
