Help me do what I love for a living: Music

Hi, my name is Victor. My passion since I was 15 was composing music and creating videogames. I did both for some years, and making music was what made me more happy than anything else in the world. I felt complete and hours passed without noticing it.

My family was really poor, so I used the low quality computer I had in that era. Even with that and no musical knowledge I managed to get relatively popular during the early 2000s in the demoscene. I won several music competitions, including some world music competition in the tracking scene. You can find most of my songs to download for free at awezoomstudios.com/music

But then, my family broke. I had to leave the university because we had no money, and I started to work as a web designer. I was like a 'natural' at that time, so I easily started to get money, and my career as designer/entrepreneur started in my early 20s.

Since then I've been an entrepreneur for more than 20 years. Before 2010 I was quite successful so I never regreted leaving my passion at a side. I composed music from time to time, but life didn't let me find time to do it properly. So I left it more and more inside the closet.

But then, after my mother died of a brain cancer my morale and my businesses were seriously affected by crysis and then by covid, so my last 5 years have become work-overloaded, poor, and sad. Very sad.

Now I'm 43. I don't have time for hobbies. I don't have time for music. I don't have time for my son. I just have work, work and work, with a very low income and my energy and ilussion have long-time vanished.

But I still remember how I felt when I used to compose music. I still remember how I felt when people wrote me to tell me they loved my songs, how they made them feel, and how passionate they though I was.

I want that back. I'm tired of doing what I don't like, and I want to do what really moves me. And I want to make new music I can offer to the world for free. As always, because my music was always for free. But I can't quit my current job as self-employed because it requires my full time and I can't afford not to get any salaries. I'm too responsible to risk all I have and my kid's main needs for just following my dream.

So, please, help me get the funds so I can leave everything on a side and dedicate again to my passion: Creating music. If you support me I'll dedicate the funds to just pay the bills so I can work only creating music and/or other media productions that my heart really enjoys creating. If so, I'll dedicate my youtube channel to talk about my process, my progress and my new music will be produced to be released for free to the public.

I have dozens of songs I created when I was young and had a poor hardware, so I'd love to remaster many of those songs to make them sound as they deserve, and also finish many, many songs I started during these 20 years and never found the time to complete.
