Help me escape my bad decisions for a while

If you're here, you know I've made some very stupid decisions in my life.

As a result, I need a holiday, though when I say holiday I mean time away so that I don't feel as inclined to yeet myself off a bridge.

It would be my first "holiday" in over 10 years, 9 of which I've spent caring for my special needs child while my husband runs around humping other women in carparks.

Anyway, I've never asked for money before in my life and it feels wrong to do it now, but maybe sometimes it's ok. Maybe sometimes it doesn't hurt to accept the kindness of others.
