Help me escape my Sweaty Binder & get Gender Affirming Care

My name is Kasper, a transmasc individual that desperately wants their breast tissue removed. If you don't know me, I'm a professional artist that sells their merchandise online, travels the midwest to sell at conventions, creates a comic, and does all kinds of freelance work! I've been wanting top surgery for some time now but this is probably the first time I've been vocal about it publicly.

Everything is already set up on my end--I've gotten my mental health letters, had the consult, and even got a date. But, being in Nebraska means that Medicaid recipients such as myself do not get coverage for gender affirming care. It is literally against the law and does not appear to be changing any time soon.

I have been quoted $7400 for my out of pocket costs, and it is something I have to pay in full two weeks before my appointment on January 9th, or the surgery isn't happening.

The goal is at $8000 to cover GoFundMe's 2.9% fees, while any extra will go towards keeping me afloat during the month I won't be able to work in recovery.

I will of course be working hard to save up my own funds rather than relying solely on this, but if I'm being honest with myself I don't think I'll be able to put away more than a half amidst all the other bills and home repairs I have to attend to. That's why I'm asking for help.
