Hi, My name is Erin. I am the owner of Pups and Kisses Dog Grooming; a local, one-on-one dog grooming business run from my home. I am dedicated to the comfort and care of every pet that comes through my doors and I focus on personalized services catered to each pet's individual needs.
I am looking to grow my little groom room into a larger, more professional grooming salon. My goal is to expand and renovate my space to provide a larger, safer, and more welcoming salon style atmosphere. I would like to allow clients to come into my space and see where their pets are being taken care of. I feel this larger and friendlier environment will create a peace of mind for my clients and help my business to continue to grow.
Our Main Focus
Our main focus and goal is providing safe and sanitary care for your pets. Funds received will, first and foremost, go towards renovating my grooming space to include water-resistant walls and flooring, and an updated A/C system in the grooming salon. These upgrades will be to prevent the growth of mold and help keep our grooming space as sanitary as possible.
The Bigger Picture
My long-term goal is to open a brick and mortar shop that caters to the needs of our pet community. This small step for my home shop will lead to a giant leap for my pet grooming business. My dream is to have a beautiful self-serve dog wash parlor with professional one-on-one grooming that caters to every pet's needs.
Your Donation Helps More Than My Business
Each donation towards my business will also help other local businesses. We will need flooring, plumbing, A/C, and electrical services, which will be sourced from other local small businesses. Your donation will be able to help multiple small businesses grow!
How Your Donations Will Be Used
Donations will, first and foremost, go towards renovating my business. We will be upgrading our floors, walls, and the A/C unit that is in the grooming room.
Other renovations may also include:
- New Tub, a new tub with non-slip bottom and a ramp to allow older and heavier dogs to be able to safely enter and exit the tub with minimal risk of injury.
- New Bathing and Drying Systems, updated bathing and drying equipment will help to cut down on groom times so your furry buddy can spend less time in shop. This would also help reduce risks of anxiety or grooming fatigue.
- New Table and Groom Mat, a new, larger table and groom mat will allow me to be able to groom larger dogs in less time as it would provide more comfort for dogs while on the table. A table with groom mats also reduce stress on the joints and lower chances of grooming fatigue.
I plan to only use what is absolutely needed. As such, any unused donations will be given to local animal rescue groups or go towards food for pets in need.
