Help Me Fight a Miscarriage of Justice and Rebuild My Life
Donation protected
My name is Nick, and I never imagined I’d be in this position — begging for help publicly. But I am in desperate need of support as I navigate one of the most painful and unjust chapters of my life.
I am a father, and until recently, I had a stable life dedicated to caring for my children and working hard to support our family. For the past four years, I endured a private battle — I was the victim of domestic abuse from my now estranged wife, who struggles with alcoholism. The last two years became unbearable, and for the sake of my own safety and the wellbeing of our children, I finally made the decision to file for divorce.
In retaliation, while intoxicated, my wife made false and deeply distressing allegations against me — accusing me of controlling and coercive behaviour and even sexual assault. These accusations are entirely untrue and have been admitted by her as a tactic to gain legal aid and priority access to social housing.
Despite her admission, the justice system must — and rightly does — take such claims seriously. I fully support the right of genuine victims to be heard and protected. However, false allegations not only destroy lives, they also undermine the voices of real survivors. They weaponise a system built to protect the vulnerable — and in this case, it has been turned against me.
As a result of these allegations, I was arrested. I have lost my home, my financial stability, and most heartbreakingly, access to my children. I am now facing a lengthy, complex legal battle to clear my name and rebuild my life from scratch. I’ve already spent everything I have and am now in significant debt. But I refuse to give up — I believe in truth and justice, and I know I must continue this fight, not only for myself but for my children.
I need your help to:
Hire a barrister for my ongoing legal defence
Pay off outstanding solicitor fees
Continue to navigate family court proceedings so I can be part of my children’s lives again
No contribution is too small. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing my story. Your support — emotional, financial, or through awareness — means the world to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I’m humbled and grateful for any help you can give.
Even if you can't give financially, I am open to any advice or even kind words.
With hope,
Nick
