Help Me Fight for My Dogs' to get Their Home Back Safely

Help me get my home back urgently and keep my doggies safe!! I’ve been going through a nasty divorce from an abusive husband to me and my doggies beating one bloody and another suffer from a broken arm on his watch! Saturday, January 18th at 3:30pm I leave out of town to Washington DC for the week. Around 7-8ish an “anonymous” call came through to the police that my babies were malnourished and they needed a safety check. Upon arrival the police raided my home and observed that my puppies were not malnourished. The police called the listed number on the residency which was my soon to be ex-husband’s number. He entered the home, changed the locks! Locking out my dog sitter! I didn’t get news until my flight landed around 12am that he entered the home by my dog sitter! I rushed home immediately on the next available flight home which was arriving back around 11pm at night. I had another 45 minutes from the airport to my residence. My ex-husband would not let me in and was holding my dogs hostage. The police claim that they can’t do anything because it is a civil matter and that I needed to come back with representation from an attorney. I’m asking for help in funding lawyer fees to help placing me and my doggies in a safe place while we fight to get back into my home. My soon to be ex-husband has a no contact order that was signed by the judge that he is currently in violation of due to his domestic violence arrest. I can’t afford a lawyer and I’m not strong enough to handle this dire situation on my own. Please help out if you can to save my babies from getting hurt by this man and to get my home back. Currently homeless due to being locked out and without a vehicle, any assistance to help fight to keep us safe!!
